We need your contribution to help people affected by gambling

As a community member, have you or your family ever needed support or treatment related to gambling?

As a health professional or service provider, have you ever had difficulty providing support or treatment to clients experiencing gambling harm?

12% of the adult population in NSW are at risk of experiencing problems caused by gambling.

We are looking to improve the way people affected by gambling receive support in primary healthcare, specifically in Fairfield LGA.
This includes the creation of a screening and referral model to help people affected by gambling receive the right support more quickly and efficiently.

Why take the survey?

By taking part in this survey, your thoughts and opinions will help us build a screening and referral model that is most-adapted to our community’s needs.

This means that GPs, other health professionals and community workers will be able to assess and refer patients needing gambling support more effectively.

Take the survey to help our community gain better access to gambling help services and support.

All results from the survey will be treated as anonymous – this means that while you need to register for HealthChat to complete the survey, your answers will form part of the big picture of healthcare in our region.

By registering, you will help us check that we have heard from SWS residents from a range of age groups, different suburbs and other important factors.
