To help us ensure health care is efficient and effective, we regularly bring together stakeholders, including health consumers, through our committees, working parties and Local Health Councils.

We are always looking for passionate and dedicated local residents who can give a voice to our priority populations - particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and local Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.

We also want to hear from people who represent their community because of the suburb or local government area where they live. We want to know how our different communities experience health in their area.

We also want to talk to people in our region who have a lived experience of our priority health conditions. We want you to have a say on how services are designed so together, we can improve the health of our region.

Our key consumer representative group is the South Western Sydney PHN Community Advisory Committee. The Community Advisory Committee was formed to bring a community voice to PHN activities and provide a community perspective to the SWSPHN Board.

We also encourage community members to join their Local Health Council. South Western Sydney PHN hosts Local Health Councils in Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Camden, Campbelltown and Wingecarribee.
