ANSC Renewal date extended to 14 November 2024

The deadline to complete registration renewal to remain recognised as a GP Antenatal Shared Care (ANSC) provider in South Western Sydney has been extended to Thursday, 14 November 2024.

For providers looking to complete their CPD requirements before 14 November, opportunities for pregnancy specific CPD can be found on the ANSC page on Healthchat page under Online Eligible CPD Opportunities. This heading is on the right side of the screen and provides many opportunities for online learning.

The new registration renewal process was introduced in July 2024 to create a more efficient, structured process for keeping the ANSC provider list current and to help with tracking CPD hours. GPs participating in the program have been emailed a link to a unique online survey.

The short, three-minute survey asks you to confirm you want to remain an ANSC provider in 2025, declare you have completed three hours of eligible CPD in the set timeframe and accept the terms of being an ANSC provider.

Only one document can be uploaded to the survey. We encourage you to upload your RACGP transcript as evidence you have met the CPD requirements, otherwise other evidence can be emailed to ANSC@swsphn.com.au.
