SWSPHN and SWSLHD are seeking engaged and proactive primary health practitioners to participate in working groups for each of the South Western Sydney Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan seven priority areas. These include:

  1. Integrating regional service delivery
  2. Strengthening suicide prevention and aftercare
  3. Coordinating treatment and supports for people with severe and complex mental illness
  4. Improving mental health and suicide prevention for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
  5. Improving the mental health of diverse communities
  6. Supporting and developing mental health workforce
  7. Empowering and supporting individuals and communities

Your commitment

The working group will meet once a month to implement the respective actions of each priority. Your time commitments will be up to 1 hour per week.

Remuneration is available for eligible Primary Health Practitioners.
